For this project, we experimented with fluid motion, floral growth, and heightfield advection.
We started this project by exploring heightfield advection, experimenting with different parameters to better understand its behavior. Rather than simply animating surface noise, our aim was to let it naturally evolve over time through velocity-driven motion. Additional layers of noise were introduced to enrich the surface detail.
The pearls were created using a straightforward RBD setup, while the floral growth was developed with a lightweight rigging approach combined with vellum simulations. The growth of the bubble itself was achieved using a pyro source spread workflow to achieve the desired result.
